Guidelines To Become A Professional Operator
Bender Transportation started in 1984 and since then we’ve been transforming our industry by creating a company focused on people. Our vision is to be the premier motor carrier built on abiding values that empower the industry’s most capable team.
We have high expectations and even higher standards, so there are a few hiring guidelines that have been implemented for our professional operator jobs. Bender Transportation’s employment practices adhere to standard commercial drivers license (CDL) guidelines with a few specifications and qualifications.
Professional Operator Qualifications
For a driving career at Bender Transportation, all employees must meet all qualifications of sections 391 and 383 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, and be at least 23 years of age. Because commercial motor vehicles require a greater level of skill, experience, and knowledge to operate than a regular vehicle, Bender Transportation requires at least two years of recent CDL A tractor/trailer experience. Our transportation company implements these qualifications because we want our drivers to feel comfortable and confident on the road. It is important to our company that our drivers feel they have the knowledge and experience to be able to perform and deliver quality, delivery service.
